3.1 Curriculum
Miagao National
High School use K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. The K to 12 English
curriculum for Fourth quarter, the program standard, the grade level standard ,
content standard and performance standard
as below :
Program Standard: The learner
demonstrates communicative competence through his/her understanding of
literature and other text types for a deeper appreciation of Philippine culture
and those of other countries.
Grade Level Standard: The learner
demonstrates communicative competence through his/her understanding of
British-American Literature, including Philippine Literature and other text
types for a deeper appreciation of Philippine Culture and those of other
countries.
Content Standard: The learner
demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text
types serve as means of preserving unchanging values in a changing world; also
how to use the features of a full-length play, tense consistency, modals,
active and passive constructions plus direct and indirect speech to enable
him/her competently performs in a full-length play.
Performance Standard: The learner
competently performs in a full-length play through applying effective verbal
and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the following criteria:
Focus, Voice, Delivery and Dramatic Conventions.

On my internship
in Miagao National High School I make four lesson plans for grade nine Junior
High School and I use all of the lesson plans. I teach three classes and that
are Diamond, Amethyst and Sapphire with same material and one class for
Teaching Evaluation with different material. My cooperative teacher suggest me
to use Diamond class with grammar material about Modals Obligation for my
Teaching Evaluation.
